Choir Information and Schedule

Throughout the ages prayer has been enriched by the lively, joyful, heartfelt singing of the congregation led very often by dedicated, enthusiastic choirs. The singing of sacred songs is a sign of participation in the communion and search for God by the faithful. In the Old and New Testament we find many references to music and song.

In Colossians 3:16 we read:

"Christ's message in all its richness must live in your hearts. Teach each other with all wisdom. Sing psalms, hymns and sacred songs; sing to God with thanksgiving in your hearts."

The main aim of our choir is to lead the congregation in praise and song on Sundays during the Holy Eucharist and on other solemnities of the liturgical year. Through music and hymns we intend to acclaim the presence of the Lord in our midst, in His Gospel and on the Altar.

Any adult or young person is welcome to join us. Please come to the choir area before Mass and join us.
